Halo: The Master Chief Collection Patch Prepares for Auto-Bans By Rebecca Smith, 26 Apr 2019 CommentsAt regular intervals, Halo: The Master Chief Collection gets a playlist update. During this week's playlist update, 343 Industries also implemented a game patch that provided the coding changes they need to alter some of the ways the team deals with auto-bans.343 is looking to make changes to two scenarios in terms of auto-bans. The first is when players leave the match during the matchmaking process. The change will impose a quit ban on those players once the match they quit out of has been completed. The second scenario is looking to remove punishments for players who quit out of unbalanced 4v2 or 4v1 games. Those on the larger team would then be able to quit out of the match without penalty. 343 is not yet sure when they will be implementing these changes and they are definitely not live now, but they're looking forward to player feedback when they are implemented.Meanwhile, the update also brought a long a series of bug fixes and other gameplay improvements.
