Ashen released last December via the ID@Xbox program for the Xbox One and was included in Xbox Game Pass on the same date. Unfortunately, however, despite being announced as an Xbox Play Anywhere title in the build-up to the game's launch, Ashen never made it to the Windows 10 Microsoft Store, as the PC version was snapped up as an exclusive to the Epic Game Store.
A few days after release, the ID@Xbox Twitter account revealed that they were continuing to work with the game's developer, Aurora44, to bring the Windows 10 version to the Microsoft Store as soon as possible.
Things have been very quiet since then, but thankfully, the studio has reiterated their plans to bring Ashen to the Windows 10 Store as an Xbox Play Anywhere title when they replied to a tweet from Windows Central's Jez Corden over the past weekend.
There's still no word on exactly when we can expect Ashen to arrive on the Windows Store for Windows 10 PC players, but if you've been patiently waiting for more news, at least we know it's still coming.
