The results from our latest TA Playlist poll are in and we're heading back to Gotham. This time the doors get blown off of the Asylum and a whole section of the city is turned into a lawless penitentiary in Batman: Arkham City.
Arkham City released in 2011 to superb reviews. Its original 360 launch sits at a 94% on Metacritic (91 PC, 96 PS3) and is regarded as one of the great sequels of the last generation. Perhaps more interesting, it's regarded often as one of the best Batman tales ever told — that's saying something for a character that just celebrated its 80th anniversary.
If you're in it for the gamerscore, know that all three achievement lists for the game will count toward participation and can be stacked across Xbox 360, PC, and Xbox One. The game takes about 40-50 hours for the full 1,000 gamerscore. It is a direct sequel to Arkham Asylum, so hopefully you played along with our game club earlier this year when we first put on the cape and cowl, but the game does a good job of catching people up if not.
