Mortal Kombat 11: Tweets Point to New DLC Character Reveals Very Soon By James Kearle, 28 May 2019 CommentsAs has been the case with other NetherRealm games, the forthcoming addition of DLC fighters to Mortal Kombat 11 has been the source of much speculation. However, aside from the confirmation prior to release that Shang Tsung will be a downloadable kharacter, the identity of the other five DLC fighters has remained a mystery. Following a tweet from Co-Creator and Creative Director Ed Boon yesterday, it would appear that the need to speculate is coming to end, with Boon stating that "if all goes well" some or all of Mortal Kombat 11's DLC lineup will be unveiled next week. Fans of Mortal Kombat 11 are undoubtedly going to be excited by this news, but as the above tweet implies there is a chance that the news may be withdrawn until a later date. The tweet also doesn't clearly specify whether it will announce all new fighters at once, or whether they will be drip-fed over the coming weeks, so tempering expectations is advisable. Whatever happens, we will be sure to keep you informed as soon as the information regarding DLC, be that next week or later. Are you excited for new DLC kharacters?
