Claire's Sanctuary Arrives in Jurassic World Evolution This Month

By Rebecca Smith,
Jurassic World Evolution players have so far gotten six new DLC dinosaurs and new DLC campaign missions linked to Dr. Henry Wu since the game's release. Developer Frontier Developments has now announced the second premium story-based expansion for the game. "Claire's Sanctuary" will add a new campaign, structures, dinosaurs, and new features when it releases later this month.

Former Jurassic World Park Operations Manager Claire Dearing is now a campaigner for the welfare of dinosaurs. With Mt. Sibo due to erupt imminently, the wildlife on Isla Nubar is under threat. In the new standalone campaign, it is up to players to help Dearing to relocate the dinosaurs at Sanctuary Island, building them a new home and making sure they're far from any volcanic threat to their lives.

Players will be able to welcome new dinosaurs Albertosaurus, Euoplocephalus and Ouranosaurus to their park, each of which have their own challenges to overcome. A new Greenhouse facility and paleobotany features will let players research extinct plants to feed their dinosaurs. Finally, players can even begin their own off-road truck ride tours from its own building. You can take a look at some of these new features in the screenshots below:

On the same day as the expansion, all players will get a free game update that includes new creative options that give players control over the terrain type, rocks, and flora. Amongst the gameplay improvements will be changes to the care of Spinosauridae, Pachycephalosauridae defense, the Gyrosphere system, and monorails.

Both "Claire's Sanctuary" and the update will be available on June 18th, the former priced at US$14.99/£12.99/€14.99.
