Star Wars Battlefront II June Roadmap Offers More XP Events

By Rebecca Smith,
Star Wars Battlefront II has another month of events planned to keep gamers going through June. After a weekend of reduced spawn timers in Galactic Assault and Capital Supremacy, the event schedule reveals a month of XP events and Battle Point events.

EA will be holding a Triple XP weekend beginning today and lasting until June 10th. This is also available on all game modes and is to celebrate the game's appearance during EA PLAY this weekend. If that's not enough, on every Wednesday for the rest of the month, players can make use of double XP on all modes. The final XP event will start on June 28th, but only in Capital Supremacy mode, where players can earn triple XP until July 1st.

Players who have already reached Rank 50 and are more concerned with reduced Battle Point costs will instead be interested in the events running later this month. Beginning on June 14th, all reinforcements and vehicles will be discounted by 75% in the Galactic Assault and Capital Supremacy modes. The weekend after that, beginning on June 21st, all heroes will be discounted by 75% in Galactic Assault, and each team will be able to support up to eight heroes at once.

The game's update is planned for June 26th. The update will add a new Clone Wars-era map to Capital Supremacy mode, but other than that, we know very little about it. As soon as we hear more, we'll be sure to let you know.
