Phantasy Star Online 2 Coming to North America

By Kevin Tavore,
It's been a very, very long time coming, but the time is finally here. At Microsoft's E3 conference this year, we finally got confirmation that Phantasy Star Online 2 will make its way to the West and to the Xbox One. PSO2 has been a massively popular game in Japan since its release in 2012. Fans have been clamoring for its release in the West ever since to no avail. Finally, the tide is changing.

This new release will have cross play and it'll give access to all of the game's content, including all the DLC and title updates that other platforms have received for the past seven years. This is fantastic news that is only soured by one small detail: SEGA has nothing to say about the game's release in Europe — this is North America only at the moment, it seems.

Luckily, Europeans can no doubt use a US account to buy the game when it releases in Spring 2020.
