In the lead up to this year's E3 Ubisoft had already confirmed that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coming October 4th, debuting gameplay during its May reveal and later releasing a punishing new trailer during last week's Stadia Connect. Now, Ubisoft are back with even more information.
The main news announced was that Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be receiving an online beta, beginning on September 5th. Players interested in participating will need to pre-order the game from the Xbox store (or via this link) to get guaranteed access to the beta. Pre-ordering the Gold Edition also allow players to play the game three days early from October 1st. You can check out all the pre-order options here.
Aside from the beta announcement, Ubisoft also dropped two new trailers that give an insight into both sides of the Auroa conflict (both of which can be seen below). The first trailer follows the Ghosts, a special-operative unit led by Nomad sent to the Auroa Islands to investigate the Skell Technology threat. The second follows Cole D. Walker (played by "The Punisher" actor Jon Bernthal), a former Ghost gone rogue who controls the island alongside his own militia group, the Wolves.
As a final tease, Ubisoft provided some surface-level news on a surprise Terminator cross-over. Aside from confirming its existence, very little information was provided — but that alone will hopefully excite those of you desperately hoping that this year's Terminator entry isn't terrible. Co-incidentally, the cross-over is the second Terminator collaboration announced in as many days, after Gears 5 announced a similar cross-branding event at yesterday's Xbox's conference.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint achievements.
