These 23 Backward Compatible Games Will Be The Last To Arrive on Xbox One

By Sam Quirke,
The good news? 23 games are coming to Backward Compatiblity this week. The bad news? These are the last ones that are coming to Xbox One. Whatever Scarlett's compatibility model is, it seems the whole team needs to focus on it and so we will not see any more Backward Compatibility announcements for Xbox One. Sad face.

feature 2I'm at least happy for our Mark, whose one BC wish was Enslaved.

Here's everything coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility, starting with Xbox Originals:

8 New Xbox Originals Coming to Backward Compatibility on Xbox One

  • Armed and Dangerous
  • Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (which we spotted earlier)
  • Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy
  • Splinter Cell
  • Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
  • Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
  • Splinter Cell Double Agent (Xbox)
  • Unreal Championship 2

15 New Xbox 360 Games Coming to Backward Compatibility on Xbox One

According to Major Nelson, the disastrous Too Human is being given away to everyone for free. Which is probably just as well. Here's a video about Scarlett that vaguely hints that the team are fully focused on making sure everything currently available on Xbox One is playable on Scarlett.

We'll certainly share more details once we know exactly what is happening with Backward Compatibility, but it certainly looks like our regular roundups are suddenly a thing of the past. We don't know exactly when these backward compatible games will be available, but it should be at some point during this week.

Still... at least Splinter Cell and Skate made it to E3, right?
