Everything Announced at Square Enix Live E3 2019

By Rebecca Smith,
Square Enix has solid partnerships with Sony and Nintendo, the result being the majority of their content is exclusive to their platforms. Despite this, there was still plenty of Xbox content on show during Square Enix Live E3 2019. In case you missed it, you can still see the entire show on Youtube below, and you can also check out the full E3 2019 schedule to find out what else is happening today.

For Xbox gamers, the first 30 minutes of the show was of very little interest save a Life is Strange 2 trailer depicting events so far and gamer reactions. At this point, though, there was a Square Enix Collective introspective that looked at some of their releases so far, as well as introducing their latest title, Circuit Superstars. It's an arcade-style racer with a realistic driving model, and it's set to launch next year.

Amongst all of the trailers that followed, the team revealed that the Final Fantasy soundtracks are now available to download from major streaming platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music. This was then followed by a new trailer for KINGDOM HEARTS III's "Re:Mind" DLC, before we then got a glimpse at Dying Light 2.

Amongst the new announcements that then followed, a HD remastered version of Romancing SaGa 3 was revealed to be coming to the west. We also got a proper look at Outriders, People Can Fly's new co-op shooter that was teased before the show began. However, the biggest cheer was reserved for the reveal of Final Fantasy VIII. One of the most requested Final Fantasy titles will be getting a HD remaster later this year.

The show concluded with a lengthy reveal of Marvel's Avengers. Several heroes, like Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, and The Hulk have been confirmed, although players will also to take on the roles of other heroes.
