Alongside the currently ongoing Life Is Strange 2, French developer Dontnod Entertainment has also been hard at work on the upcoming Twin Mirror. That hard work is set to continue into 2020 as the developer announced that the adventure title has been delayed until next year.
Like many game delays, this one has been made to make sure that Twin Mirror is the best it can be, but that's not the only reason Dontnod gave with "capitalising on Twin Mirror's success potential" another reason given. Alongside this, they announced that they have acquired the rights to the Twin Mirror IP for themselves and that they have also brought on Shibuya Productions — a Monegasque company despite what the name might suggest — to co-produce alongside Bandai Namco.
All in all, it looks like there's plenty in store for Dontnod and Twin Mirror. We'll just have to wait until 2020 to see it for ourselves.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Twin Mirror achievements.
