Play Sea of Thieves this Week and Receive a Free Halo-Inspired Spartan Ship Set

By Dave Horobin,
During yesterday's episode of Inside Xbox, Sea of Thieves Executive Producer Joe Neate sat down with Xbox Live's Major Nelson to discuss the progress that the open-world pirate game has made since it was released last year.

As a surprise, Neate revealed that anyone who plays Sea of Thieves before 23:59 BST on Saturday, June 15th will receive a very special Halo-inspired Spartan Ship Set. You can watch the trailer showing off the Spartan Ship Set in all of its glory in the Tweet below. It's worth it for the music alone!

Also released was a new E3 accolades style trailer to remind people that the Sea of Thieves Anniversary update is available to play now, offering a series of new story quests, the new PvP mode called The Arena, the addition of hunting and cooking and more.

If you've not set sail in Sea of Thieves already, it is currently discounted in the Xbox E3 sale and is avaialble in Xbox Game Pass.

We've got the full list of Sea of Thieves achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.

This game was featured in our Best Xbox MMOs Available in 2018 article. Why not check it out to see what else made the cut?
