Grab Steep’s Japan Map for Free for a Limited Time

By Rebecca Smith, 7 days ago
If there's one thing that everybody loves at E3, it's the free gaming goodies that different publishers give out to thank fans for their loyalty. The latest game to jump on that bandwagon is Steep. If you're one of the players who don't own the game's Japan map, make sure to log in before 5AM PT on June 17th to claim your free Japan ticket that unlocks the map permanently.

The Japan map is part of the Road to the Olympics DLC and allows access to its four regions — Daisetsuzan, Hakuba, Zao, and Sapporo --four mountain stories, four Snowparks, 86 points of interest, 26 challenges, and 10 feats. It does not include access to the events in Korea, nor the opportunity to become an Olympic champion, all of which are required to get all of the DLC's achievements. We're uncertain whether any of the achievements will unlock if players only own the Japan map.

If you want to try out the region, make sure to grab the Japan map soon as it is a limited time offer.

We've got the full list of Steep achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
