How Smilegate is Bringing CrossfireX to Xbox One

By Rebecca Smith,
CrossfireX was originally announced for Xbox back in 2016, although at the time it was under the umbrella of beleaguered publisher Starbreeze. Three years later, the game reappeared during the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing and it's coming first to Xbox consoles. In the latest episode of Inside Xbox, Smilegate's Executive Producer, Sooro Boo, and Technical Art Director, Jin Woo Jung, explains how the game that has 650 million PC players will be adapted for console. Microsoft Global Games Publishing Director, Nico Bihary, also explained how important the partnership is with the developer. Just don't turn on the subtitles, because they're hilarious.

If you want to hear more news about the game, you'll have to wait until XO19 when the team will reveal their roadmap, game modes, and unique content for Xbox Game Pass members. Unfortunately, that won't be happening until November, so you've got a few months to wait.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the CrossfireX achievements.
