CD Projekt Confirms You Can Beat Cyberpunk 2077 Without Killing Anyone

By Mark Delaney, 1 month ago
For the second year in a row, Cyberpunk 2077 dazzled journalists behind closed doors with a demo set to go online later this summer for all to see. During the hands-off demo, it was shared with the media that Cyberpunk can be completed while you keep your hands completely clean. If you want to play the game nonviolently and never kill anyone, it's a valid option, according to CD Projekt Red.

Nonviolent playthroughs have been an RPG staple for some time and have even been used in other sandbox titles recently, such as when a title update to Watch_Dogs 2 made such a playthrough much more accessible. Other games with deep player agency such as Deus Ex and Dishonored reward players with perks and even Xbox achievements for playing their whole stories without ending anyone's life.

Will you be chasing such an achievement if it's on Cyberpunk's list? Probably the most anticipated game of 2020 arrives on April 16th.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Cyberpunk 2077 achievements.
