Fortnite's 14 Days of Summer Begins Today By Rebecca Smith, 25 Jun 2019 CommentsIf the weather is anything like the rain that's currently falling outside my window, it doesn't particularly feel like summer. It seems a bit odd, then, to see a whole host of Fortnite characters sprawled on the beach soaking up the sun, but that's exactly what they're doing to herald the start of the game's 14 Days of Summer event. The event brings new features for all three areas of the game and the fun starts today.Battle Royale players get new content every day. Each day will bring an unvaulted weapon for a period of 24 hours, a new limited time mode, a daily challenge, a free reward, and new items in the Item Shop. The full list of limited time modes is below, although they're not in any particular order, and you can find out more information on each mode here:Heavy Metal SquadsStorm Chasers: Surfin' (squads)Splashdown SquadsPower Up SolosLeave None Behind DuosUse With Care DuosHeadshots DuosTank Battle SquadsBuilders Paradise SquadsWick's Bounty DuosArsenal (Solos)Rumble SquadsLoadout Swap SquadsStrategic Structures SquadsSave the World players get a new quest every day where they need to help Homebase to hold the best summer party.
