HITMAN 2 Travels to New York for More Achievements

By Rebecca Smith, 26 days ago
The Bank is the first new sandbox location for players who own the HITMAN 2 Expansion Pass. Located in New York, the Milton-Fitzpatrick Investment Bank gives players access to a new Golden Handshake campaign mission, the New York contracts mode, new challenges, a separate Mastery Progression system, new disguises, new items, new unlocks, and new achievements. Alongside the location came two new Special Assignments for Expansion Pass owners, and a June update for all players.

New York adds 7 achievements worth a total of 150 Gamerscore, 2 of which are secret (to reveal the details of the secret achievements, please use this link).

Special Assignments Pack 1 adds two new missions that can be played separately from the main story. Embrace of the Serpent takes place in Santa Fortuna and sends Agent 47 after a new target: Blair Reddington. Alternatively, he can travel to Mumbai in search of Basil Carnaby in Illusions of Grandeur. While both the Special Assignments and New York location are included with the game's Expansion Pass, players will need to download them separately from the Microsoft Store.

The June update is available now for all players. Amongst the changes made, there's now a reload indicator on the HUD, inconsistencies in Silent Assassin have been fixed, and players will no longer find flying fish, floating trees, or transparent ledges. The full patch notes can be found here.
