If you're not going to be busy with any of this week's new games or updates, you might be more interested in the latest title to be offered to try out during Xbox Live Gold Free Play Days. Starting today and running until Sunday, June 30th, Xbox Live Gold members can try out theHunter: Call of the Wild.
As usual, during the Free Play Days, players can unlock achievements. While the game is available to try in its entirety, theHunter has an estimated completion time of at least 35-40 hours for the base game, making it difficult to get the base completion during the trial period. There are also DLC packs with achievements that are not included in the trial, making the full completion impossible in the short amount of time available over the weekend. If that doesn't bother you and you're just after as much free Gamerscore as you can get, you can start downloading the game from here.
If you decide you like the game and want to play it after the Free Play Days are over, all versions of the game are currently on sale. The standard edition is discounted by 40%, while the 2019 Edition and the Reserve Bundle are both discounted by 20%. Alternatively, the standard edition of the game is also included in Xbox Game Pass. Your progress will be carried over into the full game if that's the route you choose.
We've got the full list of theHunter: Call of the Wild achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
