Cuphead DLC Pushed Back to 2020

The final piece of content for the critically acclaimed Cuphead has been delayed into 2020, Studio MDHR have revealed. Not only does the DLC need fine tuning, but the studio are conscious of taking better care of their workers.

Cuphead DLC delayed 2020

In a candid update about the progress on The Delicious Last Course, the Cuphead DLC announced a year ago, Studio MDHR co-director Chad Moldenhauer said that the new adventure needs to meet the "meticulous level of care and quality" that fans expect from the unique side-scroller. In addition, Moldenhauer is trying to learn from the original development cycle in terms of making sure that time constraints are "healthy and sustainable".

We will have to make do for now with a new trailer, which features new playable character Ms. Chalice. Ms. Chalice will also be made available in the base game, meaning players can experience the original adventure with the new character's unique move set.

Cuphead's final DLC will now release at some point in 2020.
