More Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass in July

The usual Twitter account has revealed a bunch more Xbox Game Pass games that are arriving to the service throughout the rest of July, including some pretty big hitters. There's some nice surprises among the Xbox Game Pass for PC additions as well.

Xbox Game Pass games list july

The biggest games in the list are probably Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Resident Evil 4. Both games took risks by drastically changing some of the gameplay aspects of their respective series but both were well received by critics and players alike, with the latter often turning up in people's game-of-all-time lists. The Banner Saga 3's inclusion in the catalogue means that the entirety of the excellent Banner Saga series is now available in the Game Pass, which is great as the trilogy together carries an incredible story where player actions and mistakes carry significant consequences. As a turn-based strategy game, it's welcome that TB3 is available on Xbox Game Pass for PC too — though it's simple enough to translate to the controller.

Speaking of PC, For the King is coming to that version of the Game Pass just a short while after being added to the console version — it remains to be seen whether it will have a shared achievement list, or an achievement list at all. Killer Instinct's Definitive Edition is coming to Xbox Game Pass on console and PC, while noir investigative thriller Night Call is launching straight into Xbox Game Pass for PC while apparently skipping consoles. It remains to be seen whether it will come to Xbox One eventually and whether it will head into Xbox Game Pass as well.

Here are the dates that these new games are heading into Xbox Game Pass:
  • July 17th — Night Call (PC)
  • July 18th — Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Console), The Banner Saga 3 (Console and PC)
  • July 25th — Resident Evil 4 (Console), Killer Instinct DE (Console and PC), For The King (PC)
Be sure to check out the rest of July's Xbox Game Pass additions and let us know which ones you are trying out in the comments!
