In-Game Gold Is Now Free For Ryse: Son of Rome Players By Heidi Nicholas, 29 Jul 2019 CommentsPlayers have recently been experiencing problems with Crytek's Xbox One launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome — but there might now be a workaround. In one of our Ryse forum threads, our community found that the game's gold was not being properly awarded to players after completing multiplayer battles. The amount earned would be displayed on-screen but not credited into the account. The suggested fixes — of changing the language and location on the console — had no effect, and as Ryse is an older game it was doubtful whether this bug would ever be fixed.Yet in-game gold is now free on the Microsoft Store, as the community discovered in a separate thread. It's debatable whether this can be classed as a "fix" or not, since it gets around the issue rather than removing it, but it is heartening that the problem has been addressed at all.Ryse: Son of Rome In-Game GoldPurchase in-game gold to buy new executions, skill upgrades, and booster packs.Download In-game gold can be used for a number of things, including upgrades and booster packs, but is most useful for multiplayer. I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
