A Mysterious Audio Clip has Been Uncovered in the E3 2019 Halo Infinite Trailer By Sean Carey, 30 Jul 2019 CommentsIt's been just over a month since 343 Industries unveiled a new trailer for Halo Infinite at E3 this year, and nothing seemed too out of the ordinary. We saw Master Chief rescued from the endless void of space and being awoken by a marine, just outside of a destroyed Halo installation. There was also a small teaser at the end of the trailer from Cortana. However, there was slightly more to the E3 trailer, and one eagle-eyed Twitter user spotted a secret message hidden in plain sight. As the Master Chief is being powered up, several red markings flash up on the screen. They only appear for about a second, but Twitter user Xeypal noticed something strange and managed to piece together the seemingly innocuous marks. It took multiple screenshots, but those strange red flashes revealed a QR code, and when scanned, directs you to a 40-second audio clip that begins with the sound of footsteps and a voice that sounds like Cortana. The voice says, "This... this is part of me, I don't why, I don't know how but it is me."Xeypal took to Twitter and tweeted what they found to 343 Industries narrative experience director, Dan Chosich — the official Halo Twitter account responded with a GIF of Catherine Halsey saying "Took you long enough" and acknowledging that Xeypal had indeed found a secret in the trailer. Halo Infinite is the latest instalment in the Halo series and will be released at some point during 2020 for both Xbox One and Xbox Project Scarlett. We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Halo Infinite achievements.RumourVideoXbox One Written by Sean CareySean joined the team as a Staff Writer for both TrueAchievements and TrueTrophies in 2019.
