Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Will Have Killstreaks

By Heidi Nicholas, 3 months ago
The multiplayer premiere for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is taking place on August 1st, and in the run-up to the event, the official Call of Duty Twitter page has revealed the information that killstreaks will return in Modern Warfare.

There were three killstreak rewards announced in the tweet: a care package containing the Juggernaut assault gear, an infantry assault vehicle, and— most controversially of all—the use of white phosphorous, a chemical incendiary weapon.
Modern Warfare is developed by Infinity Ward, and is set to release on October 25th. If you need a reminder of what to expect, have a look at the official reveal trailer:

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
