There has been a long-standing issue with a bug for the Easter Egg and achievement in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Gorod Krovi map. Community member Mild Gonolini had posted a comprehensive walkthrough of the achievement and description of how it is bugged, explaining that some people had been able to complete the Easter Egg but were then disconnected from the game without receiving the achievement. The bug has been an issue for years, but yesterday Treyarch Studios addressed it:
As Mild Gonolini also pointed out, it's important to recognise that this is not a definite statement that the issue with the Gorod Krovi DLC will be fixed soon, or at all; it's simply an update to inform the community that they're aware of a problem and 'actively working' on fixing it. Either way, it is heartening to know that the collective frustration with this problem has been recognised.
