Treyarch Have Announced They're Working On The Bugged Black Ops III Easter Egg

By Heidi Nicholas, 1 month ago
There has been a long-standing issue with a bug for the Easter Egg and achievement in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Gorod Krovi map. Community member Mild Gonolini had posted a comprehensive walkthrough of the achievement and description of how it is bugged, explaining that some people had been able to complete the Easter Egg but were then disconnected from the game without receiving the achievement. The bug has been an issue for years, but yesterday Treyarch Studios addressed it:

As Mild Gonolini also pointed out, it's important to recognise that this is not a definite statement that the issue with the Gorod Krovi DLC will be fixed soon, or at all; it's simply an update to inform the community that they're aware of a problem and 'actively working' on fixing it. Either way, it is heartening to know that the collective frustration with this problem has been recognised.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
