Meet Moze "The Gunner" In The New Borderlands 3 Character Trailer

By Heidi Nicholas,
It's been a busy week for Gearbox Software. We recently covered the details about the latest character introduced in Borderlands 3: Zane "The Operative".

Borderlands 3 Zane

Just yesterday, Gearbox announced that Borderlands 3 had gone gold, a month earlier than scheduled; meaning that development on the game should be completed and it is in its final pre-release stage.

Now, as if to celebrate the news, a new character trailer has been dropped: titled "The BFFs", it features Moze "The Gunner" and her best friend, a giant Iron Bear Mech:

The previous trailer for Zane showcased a character who was very much a lone wolf. It started with him drinking in an almost-deserted saloon, in an Old-Western style frontier setting. Moze's character trailer appears to show her as the opposite; she started out with a squad, and after they're wiped out in combat, she finds it hard to adjust to life with less company. She's not completely alone, however; she has Iron Bear, who somehow still manages to be slightly adorable even though he is an enormous, armoured piece of weaponry. He helps her cook food at the campfire, and watches over her whilst she sleeps.

The video description states that Moze is 'a battle-hardened soldier who ditched the Vladof army', and this post on the Borderlands website gives more details about the 'former Vladof soldier turned Vault Hunter'. The post also details Moze's Action Skills and skill trees, so head over there for a look if you're curious about the pair.

It seems as though you get 2 in 1 with Moze. What do you think? Will she be your Vault Hunter? Did you prefer Zane? Let us know in the comments!

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
