Microsoft have today announced a further two games set to come to Game Pass this month, along with two more which we can expect in the future.
August 13thAugust 13th sees the arrival of The Bard's Tale Trilogy. The Bard's Tale Trilogy are considered as some of the original, classic RPGs. The Trilogy has been newly remastered, and contains the three original games: Tales of the Unknown, The Destiny Knight, and Thief of Fate.
August 27thFollowing on from The Bard's Tale Trilogy, The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut comes out on August 27th and heads straight to Game Pass. After 100 peaceful years, an evil force has risen up, necessitating a hero (hint: you) to recruit your party and face this new evil in turn-based combat.
Later on in the year, we can expect to see the Wasteland 30th Anniversary Edition, another remaster. Whilst The Bard games are medieval-style fantasies, the Wasteland 30th Anniversary Edition takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting. The Wasteland 30th Anniversary Edition also heralds the arrival of the sequel Wasteland 3. Wasteland 3 is set in the snowy regions of post-apocalyptic Colorado, and should release and arrive at Game Pass in Spring 2020.
All in all, it looks to be a strong lineup for RPGs. Whilst you wait for these arrivals, why not have a look at the other games coming to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC?
