CD Projekt Red have announced they're hosting a stream next week in which they'll show an edit of the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay presented to journalists at Gamescom. The 15 minutes of gameplay will be followed by interviews with developers about what was just shown, with "a lot of insight into the thought process behind creative decisions". There'll also apparently be information about Pacifica, "one of the districts of Night City", as well as "TONS of stuff on playstyles you'll be able to adopt".
CD Projekt Red describe this as a chance for everyone "to feel a bit of gamescom". Additionally, they announce that they'll no longer be able to showcase gameplay at PAX West, but will instead be streaming from Warsaw. CDPR apologise to those who were planning on meeting them in Seattle, and state that there were "many logistical (and some creative) reasons behind this decision".
The stream will take place on August 30th, 8PM CEST and 11AM PT, and can be viewed via their Mixer and Twitch channels. This news follows a stream of new screenshots for Cyberpunk which have been released over CDPR's time at Gamescom. These screenshots don't give too much away, but do a very good job of showing off how amazing the game looks and ramping up the hype for its release date.
What do you think? Will you be watching the stream? Let us know in the comments!
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Cyberpunk 2077 achievements.
