Hand of the Gods: SMITE Tactics Servers are Shutting Down

By Sean Carey, 28 days ago
Hi-Rez Studios has announced that the servers for its SMITE tactical card game,
Hand of the Gods, will be shutting down on January 1st 2020 and will no longer be playable.

No official reason has been given why the servers are being shut down. The game was only released on February 20th of last year to average reviews. Users, however, complained about lack of updates and not enough new cards being added to the game, eventually leading to a drop in players.

This news means that of course, Hand of the Gods' achievements will also be disappearing too, so if you did want to grab a couple more achievements from the game, get playing now.

As compensation, all players will receive 100,000 Runes to spend in the game and to see out the rest of the year.

We've got the full list of Hand of the Gods: SMITE Tactics achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
