Dying Light 2 Video Shows Off 26 Minutes of Gameplay

By Sean Carey,
During both E3 and Gamescom this year, gameplay footage of Dying Light 2 was shown behind closed doors to the press. Now, Techland has released 26 minutes of gameplay, giving everyone on the internet a peek at what to expect from the sequel.

The trailer is for one of the game's major story missions. The city's supply of drinking water is running low, and various factions have been brought together to figure things out. Things go amiss, and it's the job for Aiden Caldwell — the main protagonist — to sort things out. The video shows off some gruesome combat with modded weapons, the rooftop free running that made Dying Light famous in the first place and of course plenty of half-dead zombies. The narrator also offers up some interesting information. The city is made up of seven different regions — each unique and with new parkour moves to unlock.

There is no definitive release date for Dying Light 2 as of yet, all we know is that the game is coming to Xbox One in Spring 2020.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Dying Light 2 achievements.
