Remnant: From the Ashes Patch Fixes Buggy and Unobtainable Achievements By Sam Quirke, 30 Aug 2019 CommentsGunfire Games have released a new patch for Remnant: From the Ashes which appears to fix a bunch of achievements that have been causing our community trouble. Although the patch notes only specify some achievements which have been fixed, our community have already started noting several additional unlocks when they start the game, assuming they have already met the achievement's fixed requirements. The developers also note that "In general, we are prioritizing performance, stability, and crashes. We've also fixed several bugs that have halted progression, side-dungeon completion, and affected achievement/trait unlocks."One of the big frustrations was the below achievement:The Heart of a Dragon achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes worth 34 pointsUpgrade Dragon HeartThis achievement was unobtainable from the start, but a previous patch partially fixed the issue, allowing new players to meet the requirement. Until yesterday there was no fix for those players who had already met the requirement, but according to Lethargik and others, the achievement has started popping on login for those players as well.The other major issue with achievements in this game relates to pretty much all of the cumulative requirements. While explicit confirmations are thin on the ground, the following have been unlocked by determined players as of yesterday and therefore are presumably fixed:The Equipment Enthusiast achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes worth 118 pointsAcquire 10 armor setsThe Unleash Your Potential achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes worth 200 pointsAcquire 30 traitsThe Mod Enthusiast achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes worth 70 pointsAcquire 15 weapon modsThe Scrap Collector achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes worth 140 pointsAcquire 200,000 scrapThe Scrap Harvester achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes worth 52 pointsAcquire 100,000 scrapScrap Harvester and Scrap Collector were a particular pain — though the descriptions suggested that 100,000 and 200,000 scrap were required, players calculated that the achievement was tracking towards 1 and 2 million respectively. That has been fixed as of yesterday, luckily in favour of the descriptions. Players should only have to collect 200,000 scrap to get these to pop.
