Bad North, DiRT Rally 2.0 and LEGO Worlds Available Now in Xbox Game Pass

By Rich Stone,

Description: Your home is under attack. The king is dead at the hands of Viking invaders. Hope is a distant glimmer in the fog, fading fast with every passing moment. As you rise to take your father’s place as ruler, it will fall to you to stage your defenses. But make no mistake – this is no fight for victory, but a desperate grasp for survival.
Platforms: Xbox One
Release date: 28/08/2018
Bad North is an unusual tactics-based rogue-lite that many critics agree makes for an interesting tonal twist for the RTS genre — but don't expect an easy completion. Most players agree that the difficulty incline is very high indeed.

DiRT Rally 2.0

Review screens

Description: DiRT Rally 2.0 dares you to carve your way through a selection of iconic rally locations from across the globe, in the most powerful off-road vehicles ever made, knowing that the smallest mistake could end your stage.
Size: 31GB
Platforms: Xbox One
Release date: 26/02/2019
DiRT Rally 2.0 is generally getting good reviews on Metacritic, with critics and players alike praising its simulation quality even though the locations and career mode are a little sparse. Unfortunately for the completionists among you, there is a tough leaderboard related achievement that only 6% of its players on TA have unlocked. If you're up for the challenge, you can try and stack both completions thanks to the fact that DiRT Rally 2.0 has a separate list on console and PC.

Size: 4.2GB
Platforms: Xbox One
Release date: 07/03/2017
LEGO Worlds ended up being far from the Minecraft competitor it perhaps was aiming to be, but despite some hiccups its generally well regarded as a simple but fun sandbox survival game. The same can't be said for the achievement list, which includes a grind for a billion studs that will take hours and hours of collectible hunting.

Bad North has about 475 tracked gamers and is worth 3661 TA as of today. Curious to see how ratios change with the game pass effect.

Unfortunately for Bad North on PC, that edition is the Jotunn Edition and does not have xbox live enabled achievements. Though it does seem that if it did, they would be two separate lists.

Just contacted Raw Fury to ask if they have any plans to add achievement support for the PC version in the future. Hopefully the answer is yes.

Had Bad North on my wishlish since it came out, what better time to try it out.

Might give Lego Worlds a go as well, although I'm more unsure with that one.

I hated what I played of Lego Worlds but I'm also used to their linear style of gameplay. I find that much more enjoyable than whatever Worlds is.

That's fair. I have a handful of other standard Lego games still to play which I enjoy. I'll go in expecting it to be completely different.

Bad North has excellent title as it has one "bad" achievo. Do research before challenging yourself with this game, unless you want to pull out some hair.

I'll get to Lego and Dirt. Anyone know if Dirt includes the Season Two token or should I purchase the Deluxe Content pack while it is on sale?
Looking for a place to happen, making stops along the way.

I surprised they haven't put more of the Forza games on GP, especially with no Motorsport this year, would seem like a good time to throw them all up without worrying about Forza fatigue or splitting the audience from a new entry.

Bad North already taking a hike with the TA score. Up about 1k already. I wonder how high it'll get and what it will settle at in a few weeks time. Maybe 6-7k?

Got a response from Raw Fury regarding the pc version of Bad North. Unfortunately, no achievements planned so I'm guessing it likely won't be coming.

    Hi,

Thanks for contacting Raw Fury support!

There is no plan at the moment, it might be a thing in the future!

    Best regards,

    Timothy
