Xbox Gameplay Chart, Week Ending 06 October 19

By Sean Carey, 11 days ago
It's Monday, which means a new Xbox Gameplay Chart from us here at TA. A few things have changed this week with both Borderlands 3 and Gears 5 slipping down four places with Borderlands now residing in 7th and Gears in 8th. Apex Legends has clambered its way back up the table to fourth, which is most likely down its Season 3 starting and the introduction of the new character, Crypto.

Here is the top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending 06 October 2019.

Destiny 2, however, has stormed its way back up the chart to 6th. With the game going free-to-play and the premium DLC, Shadowkeep being released, it was hard not to see this one coming. Now that the game is free, it will be interesting to see if it becomes a mainstay in our top ten.

We have a new entry from Ghost Recon Breakpoint, coming in at 22nd. Judging by reviews and the critical reception the third-person looter shooter has received, we imagine this one will be slipping down and off the chart in the next weeks to come.

There have been two new re-entries this week too. Call of Duty: Black Ops II has bizarrely muscled its way into the top 40. We aren't too sure why, but it's in there at 36th place. There was a Black Ops II eSports streaming event which took place at the end of September, so maybe that could have something to do with the 2012 FPS making a comeback. If you know why this has appeared in our chart, let us know in the comments.

Mortal Kombat 11 has also re-appeared in our chart in 38th place. Three-player co-op raids were announced as coming to the fighting game by Nether Realm just over a week ago, so the re-entry could have something do with that. Or all you MK fans are just excited to play as Arnie — the latest DLC character Terminator T-800 comes to Mortal Kombat 11 tomorrow.

This week we have a few games that should push there way into the top 40. The likes of Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, GRID and Frostpunk: Console Edition are all coming to Xbox One over the next four days. Will you be playing any of these titles? Let us know in the comments!
