The Ten Quickest and Easiest Completions on Xbox Game Pass for PC

By Sean Carey,
The Xbox Game Pass for PC app isn't the best for achievement hunters. Many of the games listed on Game Pass for PC don't support achievements, and the only way to figure out if they do is to open up each game and check under the Capabilities heading. We have compiled a list of games from the app that support achievements and are reasonably easy to complete as determined by their TA ratio.

The Gardens Between

First up is The Gardens Between. Unfortunately, The Gardens Between doesn't have a separate Win 10 achievement list, so you'll want to skip it on the PC if you've already completed it. If you haven't though, its an easy 1000 Gamerscore, especially with the fantastic walkthrough we have for it on site. It's also not a bad puzzle game and should be checked out regardless of the 1000Gs.

Next we have Tacoma. Tacoma on Game Pass for PC supports achievements, but again, no separate Win 10 list. Twelve achievements for 1000Gs should take you around 1-2 hours. There's another great walkthrough on site for this one as well as individual achievement guides. However, it should be noted that playing Tacoma on Win 10 has been flagged as buggy and achievements might not track or unlock at all.

Old Man's Journey has 12 achievements for 1000 Gamerscore and is a shared achievement list. Another 1-2 hour completion time with a walkthrough that has been upvoted 365 times. The game is an adventure point-click that's been rated 3.18 out 5 from the community.

Dino survival sim Ark: Survival Evolved is a little notorious on site due to the fact that it's one of the few games in which console commands do not disable achievements. It's a Play Anywhere title, so console and PC players alike have been taking advantage of our exhaustive ARK achievements walkthrough to basically type their way to 100%. It's a bit of a chore to type all of that in though, so we highly recommend players complete this shared achievement list via PC where the larger command dumps can be copied and pasted into the game. It's a weird game worth exploring a little bit even without the commands, but when you're fed up at least you know there's a relatively short path to the full completion.

The Turing Test

The Turing Test is a slightly longer completion coming in at around 6-8 hours. Sadly, it's a shared list again with 15 achievements worth 1000 Gamerscore. A great walkthrough with 419 upvotes and there is individual achievement guides. The Turing Test is one of the highest-rated games on this list with a rating of 3.7/5 from the TA community and was given the TA 2016 Best Puzzle Game of the Year award, so it's worth checking out.

We have another stackable in the form of ACA NEOGEO METAL SLUG X (Win 10). The NEOGEO games are notorious for easy completions and easy Gamerscore. 12 achievements for 1000 Gamerscore and it should take you about 2-3 hours. Achievements are pretty straight forward, and there's a walkthrough to help out.

The Last Door: Season 2

The Last Door: Season 2 (Win 10) is another point and click adventure title. It's one of the longer completions on the list clocking in at 6-8 hours, but if you've got the time, it will net you 1000 Gamerscore for its 16 achievements.

Hello Neighbor has 17 achievements worth 1000 Gamerscore. However, four of those achievements are listed as buggy. It's also an 8-10 hour completion and was given a 1.5/5 in our official review. It has a shared achievement list, so Hello Neighbor might only be worth it if you're desperate for the Gamerscore and have a Game Pass for PC subscription. Plenty of individual achievement guides though if you do fancy the completion.

For Age of Empires: Definitive Edition (Win 10) you can use console commands to unlock most of the achievements in the game, or if you've previously completed the 2018 version, the achievements should automatically unlock. You can unlock all the campaign achievements (500Gs) in less than 10 minutes by using cheats. Check out the guides and walkthrough on this one.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

If you haven't played Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (Win 10), you really should. It's the best game on this list by a long shot and is personally one of my favourite games. There are 14 achievements worth 1000 Gamerscore, and it's going to take you 6-8 hours to complete. Hellblade has the highest ratio on this list with the Stories From the North achievement being the hardest. It involves collecting 44 Lorestones throughout the game, but there is a guide for this achievement. Hellblade can seem too tough for a beginner, but keep practising the combat, and it becomes quite straightforward.
