The supernatural thriller Oxenfree has been downloaded over three million times by players through Xbox Game Pass, as revealed on Twitter by Night School Studio co-founder Sean Krankel.

After an interview with IGN, Krankel took to Twitter to clarify a statement he made about how many copies of Oxenfree were sold. In the tweet, he reveals that Oxenfree was installed by over three million Game Pass users and sold an additional one million copies on top of that.

Oxenfree originally released back in 2016 on Xbox One and PC before coming to PS4 later that year. The game has also had releases on mobile and the Nintendo Switch. Oxenfree came to Xbox Game Pass in March 2018.

Night School Studio's next release, Afterparty, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on its launch day, October 29. It involves you taking on the Devil in a bar crawl throughout Hell.
