First PES 2012 Screenshots

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
Konami has released the first screenshots for the latest iteration of the Pro Evolution Soccer series, PES 2012. This year's game will have new animations, visual enhancements and control elements as the Tokyo-based development team is aiming for a "more fluid and playable experience". The player will be given total control; dribbling, passing and build-up play have been refined, and the AI has been improved to ensure that team mates will make dummy runs and support the player with the ball.

The jostling system from Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 has now been enhanced to "offer proper bodily contact and physical reactions". Finally, close control and the team AI have been reworked to try to "provide a more realistic recreation of real football".
