Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest Event Kicks Off October 24 By Sean Carey, 21 Oct 2019 CommentsBorderlands 3 is the next title in a long list of games to get some sort of Halloween themed event. Bloody Harvest is a free content update that runs from October 24 to December 5 and sees players journey to Heck, a new location full of challenges. Getting to Heck comes with a few caveats. You'll find a friendly Saurian called Maurice on your ship — Maurice requires you collect a certain amount of Hecktoplasm via a repeatable mission before opening a portal to Heck. Once in Heck players will take on an undead army before battling with a new boss called Captain Haunt. With the event comes a bunch of new loot only available during Bloody Harvest. New skins for weapons and characters and a powerful new shotgun called the Fearmonger are all up for grabs. There are also new Anointed weapons that play off a new Terror Mechanic. Haunted enemies can inflict a Terror debuff that affects aim and partially clouds vision. This can be turned around, and Terror can be used as a boost of power. The event will run from October 24 to December 5 and players will need to have unlocked Sanctuary III in the campaign to access Bloody Harvest.Check out our Best Xbox One First-Person Shooters Available in 2019 article for a compilation of other great games in this genre.Game UpdateVideo View comments Written by Sean CareyHey everyone!
