Smackdown vs. Raw Now Named WWE '12

THQ announced today that the Smackdown vs. Raw series of WWE games would be retitled from here forward. So, today, they revealed the first teaser trailer for the newly named, WWE '12.

The trailer really shows off nothing but Randy Orton progressing through his career, but it's not up to us to decide what counts as trailer material for an upcoming game.

THQ has also revealed that the name change isn't the only major overhaul the new title will see. A new system, dubbed 'Predator Technology', will be used in the title to allow a greater fluidity of motion. THQ also asserts that they listened closely to fan feedback on the previous Smackdown vs. Raw titles and cut out many of the things fans were displeased with, including confusing grapple controls, less-than-stellar animations, and characters warping to locations in order to perform certain moves.

WWE '12 is scheduled for a Fall 2011 release.
