Fallout 1st: the New £12pm Premium Membership for Fallout 76

By Heidi Nicholas,
UPDATE: Bethesda's announcement of Fallout 1st, the premium membership for Fallout 76, hasn't really been anywhere close to smooth. Now, it's apparently fallen apart even more, according to Twitter user @JezCorden, who tweeted to say that since Bethesda didn't register the domain for Fallout 1st, an irate fan got ahold of it instead. @JezCorden included pictures (which, just a heads up, are NSFW due to the language). Here's the link to the website, and, if unavailable, the links to the pictures @JezCorden included: here, here, here, and here.

Original story:
Fallout 76 is getting a premium membership titled Fallout 1st. The membership costs £11.99 for a month, or a whopping £99.99 for a year (which includes a 36% discount). The membership brings private worlds, a monthly Atom bonus, a survival tent, cosmetic items, and a scrapbox.

Fallout 1st

Bethesda say "The community has been asking for the ability to play in private worlds since before the launch of Fallout 76" — and now they're coming to the game, but with Fallout 1st. The private worlds can have up to eight people, and only the owner of the private world needs to have a Fallout 1st membership. Players with the membership will get a 1,650 Atom bonus every month for use in the Atomic shop, along with discounts in the shop.

A scrapbox with unlimited storage is also included in the membership, where crafting materials can be placed. A survival tent contains a stash, sleeping bag, scrapbox, cooking station, and an instrument. It also features as an additional fast travel point, and can be found in the Favourites wheel. The Ranger Armor Outfit is also available for Fallout 1st members, along with a pack of icons and emotes.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
