NBA 2K20 is Free to Play with Xbox Live Free Play Days

By Sean Carey,
The NBA season has just tipped off, and to celebrate Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can slam dunk a few NBA 2K20 achievements for free this weekend thanks to Xbox Live Free Play Days.

NBA 2K has evolved into much more than a basketball simulation. 2K continues to redefine what’s possible in sports gaming with NBA 2K20, featuring best in class graphics & gameplay, groundbreaking game modes, and unparalleled player control and customisation. Plus, with its immersive open-world Neighborhood, NBA 2K20 is a platform for gamers and ballers to come together and create what’s next in basketball culture.
NBA 2K20 was released last month and has not been received warmly. On Metacritic, the game currently sits at a 0.8 User Score with users complaining about numerous gameplay issues, invasive microtransactions and graphical glitches. However, since launch, the game has had several patches, so hopefully, some of those issues have been sorted out.

The Free Play Days event should go live at some point today, and unless we hear any different, you'll be able to play over the weekend up until Monday.

Nowadays, you'll find me mainly playing multiplayer PC games, but with the recent addition of the Xbox Game Pass for PC, I'm looking forward to improving my TA Score.
