Easiest Xbox Achievement Lists from October 2019

It’s normally a busy time of year for big budget releases – but it’s actually been relatively quiet this time, at least compared to 2018. Perhaps achievement hunters will find themselves with room in the budget to spend on some quick and easy gamerscore. Here’s our picks from October, a busy month in the world of easy gamerscore gains.

All completion estimates and assessments of difficulty are provided thanks to our fantastic community. You can help us out by writing walkthroughs, adding solutions, commenting and up-voting on the ones you like, and most importantly, logging your completion times when you finish a game list.

We Were Here Too

We Were Here Too Achievements

Price: $9.99 (US) / £8.39 (GB)
Completion Time: 2-3 hours

We Were Here Too

The only caveat with this charming and short puzzle adventure is that online co-op is mandatory — the core concept of the game is to navigate using the eyes and ears of your partner player. Despite that complication it shouldn’t be too difficult to complete – it’s only 30 minutes to finish the game, though you have to finish the game twice to get everything. BiLLzuMaNaTi has a decent guide on the final achievement for those who get stuck, and if you’re looking for a co-op partner don’t forget to make use of our gaming sessions tool.

One Night Stand

One Night Stand

Price: $4.99 (US) / £4.99 (GB)
Completion Time: 0-1 hour

One Night Stand

The only caveat with this game is being comfortable having some slightly questionable achievement descriptions on your gamertag. This Ratalaika visual novel has a whopping 14 endings that need to be reached but, like most Ratalaika games, it’s still only going to take about an hour to get them all. SnipedByAGirl1 is already on the case with a rapid-fire walkthrough, showing you all the things you need to click.

Slabwell

Slabwell Achievements

Price: $7.99 (US) / £6.69 (GB)
Completion Time: 1-2 hours

Slabwell

Slabwell might have 95 levels to complete in its Story Mode, but don’t let that put you off – thanks to a generous level skip feature you only actually have to complete six of them. Check out the Star Raider achievement for some handy guides from the community, talking you through how to skip most levels and how to complete the rest.

A Winter's Daydream

A Winter’s Daydream Achievements

Price: $5.99 (US) / £4.99 (GB)
Completion Time: 0-1 hour

A Winter's Daydream

By all accounts this is a pretty mediocre visual novel from Sometimes You, but, being from Sometimes You, it’s also going to be over pretty quick so you can move on. 96% of the game’s 2,200 players have already completed it, and have mostly done so in less than an hour. As long as you can put up with the usual anime illustration style, you’ll get through this – and with an extra 1000G for your trouble.

Super Box Land Demake

Price: $4.99 (US) / £4.99 (GB)
Completion Time: 0-1 hour

Super Box Land Demake

Another Ratalaika release to the rescue – if you don’t mind pushing some boxes around for thirty minutes or so you can walk away with an easy 100%. You only need to complete two of the game’s worlds, which is 40 single-screen box-pushing puzzles. Community reviewer AP E JC claims that Easy mode is so easy that you don’t even need to trouble with a guide – but we won’t judge if you do. There’s already a couple of video walkthroughs on the game’s “most difficult” achievement, which has still been unlocked by 87% of the game’s 1,300 players.

The Bradwell Conspiracy

The Bradwell Conspiracy

Price: $19.99 (US) / £14.99 (GB)
Completion Time: 2-3 hours

The Bradwell Conspiracy

The Bradwell Conspiracy looked mildly intriguing from early reveals of its concept and some imagery, but the final release left a lot of reviewers cold, apparently because the puzzles lack any real oomph. Still, that means easy pickings for achievement hunters used to a little puzzle solving. The only things to watch out for are a couple of missable achievements that require alternate responses at the same point in the game. There’s also a bunch of collectibles to pick up – presumably easy enough, because even with these caveats more than half of players have completed the achievement list. We’d maybe save this one for a sale – not only is it a little expensive for a 3 hour jaunt, you might as well wait for a few collectibles guides to show up from the community.

Queen's Quest 4: Sacred Truce

Queen's Quest 4: Sacred Truce (Xbox One Version) Achievements

Price: $14.99 (US) / £12.49 (GB)
Completion Time: 3-4 hours

Queen's Quest 4: Sacred Truce

Artifex Mundi are yet another reliable publisher for generating some easy gamerscore, and their games aren’t always terrible either. Normally players will find themselves partaking in some very simple point and click adventuring alongside some hidden object puzzles, and Queen’s Quest 4 seems no different from the rest of its series. There’s some stuff to find along the way, but luckily community member Sangriaz is already on the case with a comprehensive video walkthrough for mini-games and collectibles.

Just Ignore Them

Just Ignore Them

Price: $4.99 (US) / £4.99 (GB)
Completion Time: 1-2 hours

Just Ignore Them

Oh look, it’s Ratalaika again! Just Ignore Them is a straightforward adventure game, with some pretensions to horror – but it doesn’t look all that scary from BiLLzuMaNaTi’s video. BiLL has another comprehensive achievement walkthrough to get players all the way through the game – there’s a couple of alternate endings to consider, but even with those included players aren’t estimating more than 1-2 hours for the completion.

Caretaker

Caretaker Game Achievements

Price: $7.99 (US) / £6.69 (GB)
Completion Time: 0-1 hour

Caretaker

Another relatively low-res horror for the Halloween season, thankfully a little too short and easy to deliver many real scares. 80% of players have completed the game already since its release on October 23rd, and BiLLzuMaNaTi is once again on the case in the achievement solutions.

Deep Space Rush

Deep Space Rush Achievements

Price: $4.99 (US) / £4.19 (GB)
Completion Time: 0-1 hour

Deep Space Rush

Guess what? It’s another Ratalaika game. Despite needing to clear 100 levels and defeat 100 enemies in total, it’s not as bad as it sounds — according to BiLLzuMaNaTi every wall that you pass counts as another zone, and you don’t need to clear 100 levels or defeat 100 enemies in one run of this cheap and cheerful side-scrolling pixel shooter. The estimate for this one is much, much less than one hour for your 1000Gs, and 96% of the game’s 1,100 players have already completed it.

Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King

Aladdin Lion King Xbox One review

Price: $29.99 (US) / £29.99 (GB)
Completion Time: 1-2 hours

Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King

I can personally vouch for the relative ease of this one, thanks to my official review last month. These were games that frustrated the heck out of me back on the MegaDrive, but thanks to a generous rewind and save-scumming system it’s really not too bad. In fact, the old Level Select cheats still work, as do the infinite life cheats - so although each game’s three difficulty achievements don’t stack (grrrr), you can skip ahead to the final boss and defeat them with ease in both cases. It’s unlikely to take more than 3 hours max, though cheating your way through it does feel like a betrayal of your 8-year-old self who didn’t know anything about cheat codes...

Inferno 2+

Inferno 2+ Achievements

Price: $4.99 (US) / £4.19 (GB)
Completion Time: 0-1 hour

Inferno 2+

Inferno 2+ is a very straight-forward cross between a platformer and a twin-stick shooter, with forty levels — but you only need to complete 20, and by all accounts it’s far easier than it should be to get that far. There’s a couple of achievements that require you to upgrade certain aspects of your weird glowing disc thing simultaneously, but there’s a guy and a guide for that – his name starts with a B and ends MaNaTi. Check out his full walkthrough for more.

Delta Squad

Delta Squad Achievements

Price: $5.99 (US) / £5.99 (GB)
Completion Time: 1-2 hours

Delta Squad

We might as well round things off with our favourite publisher, Ratalaika. Once again things sound slightly harder in the achievement descriptions for this top-down twin-stick shooter — one asks you to survive “at least 10 waves” in survival mode but apparently this just means beating 10 different waves, rather than reaching Wave 10. In terms of the campaign, you only need to complete one level and defeat the boss. It might be marginally easier with a second controller — apparently you can just add Player 2 when you think you’re about to die, let Player 1 die off and re-add it with full health. That’s if you need the help — a fair few people seem to have completed the list without the trick, with 60% of players completing the list at an estimated 1-2 hours.

What do you think of October’s list? Are you going to add any to your price trackers in hopes of a sale, or will you plunge in and earn yourself a whole bunch of Gs right now? Perhaps you will instead laugh in the face of easy gamerscore and go grind your way through Elder Scrolls Online this weekend? Whatever you think, let us know in the comments!
