Star Wars Battlefront II Update Delayed By Heidi Nicholas, 07 Nov 2019 CommentsThe content update planned for Star Wars Battlefront II in November has been pushed back to the first week of December. Whilst that means November will be a little dry for updates for Battlefront II, EA will still have a big month of Star Wars content ahead of them in December. The delayed November content update will now arrive in the same month as the December update and the Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker content, at the same time as the movie. EA haven't given much information about the December update, which will follow after the delayed November update releases. They've given none at all about the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker content, beyond the fact that December will be a celebration month. The movie releases on the 19th, but it's uncertain whether the Rise of Skywalker content will be released around the same time. If they've got the delayed November update releasing in the first week of December, and then a second update in December, it seems uncertain whether the big addition of the Rise of Skywalker content will also be released so soon after. The tweet comes from Ben Walke, a community manager at DICE. He emphasises that this delay doesn't mean content is being cut, just moved. He took to the comments to defend the decision, saying that EA have delivered content nearly every month for over a year, and that nothing's being lost: December is just being added to. He also clarifies that the delay isn't related to technical issues. Indeed, when another fan asked why the dates were changing, Walke replied "There are reasons, good reasons, more to come." November certainly won't be empty of Star Wars content, even with the delay; Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releases next week on 15th November.Check out our Best Xbox One First-Person Shooters Available in 2019 article for a compilation of other great games in this genre.Xbox One View comments Written by Heidi NicholasHey, I'm Heidi! I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
