Microsft has rolled out a new update to all Alpha Skip-Ahead testers that adds a new button to the upper right of the My Games & Apps section. The "Surprise Me" button will help players pick their next game to play by pulling a random game from their library and suggesting it.

Unfortunately, the feature is only available to those in the Xbox Insider testing program, specifically the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. It's currently unclear on how the feature works and what criteria go into selecting a game to play. Does it select a game that you've never played, or perhaps one you haven't played in a while? Redditor CaCHooKaMan has uploaded a video where you can see more of the feature.

Xbox Insiders are also getting a new way to manage their Home dashboard. Pressing the View button on the Xbox One controller brings up a new screen that allows users to add, remove or reorder what appears on their Home screen, as well as personalising it with a background and theme.

As mentioned earlier, these new features are only available to Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. This is the earliest phase of testing and is only open to Insiders who have been invited. Alpha Skip-Ahead testers receive preview builds of future Xbox One operating system releases. It will be a while before these features make it to the public, and that's if they make it at all.
