The Game Awards 2019 Nominees Revealed — Death Stranding Nominated in Eight Categories

The Game Awards are almost upon us — the nominees have been picked, and now you can have your say in determining the winners in 29 categories. Fan voting is officially open, and you have until December 11 to cast your votes.

This year, Death Stranding is currently leading the way with eight nominations in a variety of different categories, including Game of the Year. Remedy Entertainment's Control is following closely behind with seven nominations. In 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2, Celeste and Fortnite all took home multiple prizes, while God of War took the coveted Game of the Year award.

To cast your votes, head over to The Game Awards website, where you will need to log in using Facebook or Twitter. You can watch this year's Game Awards live via YouTube and Twitch on December 12, 5:30 PM PT/8:30 PM ET / 1:30 AM GMT.

It's not all about the awards though, expect some new game reveals too. Last year, Over ten new games were announced, including the likes of The Outer Worlds and Far Cry New Dawn. There will also be an exclusive look at the Gears of War spin-off, Gears Tactics.
