Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remains Top in our Xbox Gameplay Chart

By Sean Carey,
It's Monday which means a new Gameplay Chart from us here at TA. As we can see, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is standing firm in first place, keeping Fortnite from reclaiming the top spot which it previously held for seven months. Apex Legends is the only other game to have knocked Fortnite down from the number one position, and the free-to-play battle royale held the top spot for a total of six consecutive weeks. Can Modern Warfare do the same?

Not much else has changed at the top of the table. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has moved up three places to 12th. Borderlands 3 has made a big jump of six places from 19th to 13th. This could be down to many Xbox players taking advantage of the Xbox Live Free Play Days where Borderlands 3 went free-to-play over the weekend. The Outer Worlds is continuing its decline and is almost out of the top 20, sitting in 19th.

We also have two re-entries into this week's chart. Warframe has re-entered the chart at 35th. This is probably down to its latest free update, titled "Old Blood" that went live early last week. Fallout 4 has also snuck back in and is sitting in 40th place.

Here is the top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending 24 November 2019.

Looking ahead, we could see the likes of Civ VI making an appearance. The strategy game was released last Friday. Other than that, we don't have any big named releases on the radar. Unless something drops into Xbox Game Pass, or we get a big DLC this week, next week's chart could be uneventful. Fingers crossed that Modern Warfare stays at the top!
