Whenever a company is looking to make some bank or is running out of ideas, they always resort to remaking classics. Sometimes they turn out well, and sometimes they don't. The latest remake is Choplifter HD
, an HD rehash of the classic side-scrolling shoot 'em up Choplifter
In Choplifter HD
, gamers play from a 2D perspective to rescue as many survivors from zombie outbreaks and P.O.W camps while fending off ensuing zombies and baddies. To further complicate matters, gamers are required to keep track of fuel and armor as well as deal with absurd survivors, such as the journalist who refuses to be rescued until he or she is done with their live report.
In order to maintain the integrity of the original game, inXile worked closely with Dan Gorlin, creator of Choplifter
, to create an authentic, but fun, experience for all gamers to enjoy.
