Cyberpunk 2077 Reveals Many Artists Working On Its Soundtrack

By Sam Quirke,
CD Projekt RED has revealed many of the artists contributing to the soundtrack of Cyberpunk 2077 – one of those artists, Grimes, performed her song 4ÆM live at The Game Awards last night with a Cyberpunk 2077 inspired video. Grimes will also be voicing the character Lizzy Wizzy in the game – like Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand, Lizzy is a known and beloved character in the existing Cyberpunk universe started by the tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020.

In the mini documentary about the music of the game, CD Projekt Red revealed some of the artists involved with the game's soundtrack. Players will hear music from Run the Jewels, Refused, Grimes, A$AP Rocky, Gazelle Twin, Ilan Rubin, Richard Devine, Nina Kraviz, Deadly Hunta, Rat Boy, and Tina Guo, threaded with original compositions by Marcin Przybylowicz – the lead composer for the phenomenal score in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

It's safe to say Cyberpunk 2077's soundscape is looking as energized and fascinating as the world of the game itself. We'll see how it all comes together for ourselves when the game releases on Xbox One on April 16th, 2020.

Thanks to RDS for the tip.
