Life is Strange 2 Fully Available in Xbox Game Pass With the Release of Episode 5

By Sam Quirke,
It's a busy day for Xbox Game Pass – as well as the release of The Witcher 3 and Pillars of Eternity on Xbox Game Pass for console, we've had XCOM successor Phoenix Point appear in Xbox Game Pass for PC too. The other big news for today is the long-awaited conclusion to Life is Strange 2, which started over a year ago and only recently had its fifth and final episode launch for general purchase. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now complete Sean and Daniel's tale too, as Episode 5: Wolves drops into the Pass this morning.

We don't even want to show you recent images for fear of spoilers, so rest assured that the final episode leads to a dramatic conclusion to the brothers' tale as they journey across America to find a safe haven. The fifth episode rounds out the Life is Strange 2 achievements list with the usual optional drawing and bunch of collectibles. It also has a Platinum-equivalent "unlock all achievements" achievement – long-term achievement hunters will be pleased to hear that this one is unlocking fine for players, something that's not always guaranteed.

Life is Strange 2 is 4K Enhanced, and each episode will take roughly 2-3 hours to complete. Be sure to check out St3phosaurus' Life is Strange 2 achievement walkthrough to get you through Episodes 1 - 4 efficiently; the guide for the fifth and final episode is in the works at the time of writing.
