GTA V is in Xbox Game Pass Today

By Heidi Nicholas,
In a completely random turn of events, Microsoft have just made the announcement that Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V is now available in the Xbox Game Pass service for consoles. It's currently only available for consoles, according to the accompanying Xbox Wire post.

Those with Xbox Game Pass memberships will also get a 20% discount on the base game if they then decide to go and purchase it from the Microsoft store. Those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold will also have access to GTA Online, which just recently got its first heist in two years: the Diamond Casino Heist. There's no word yet whether it'll come to Xbox Game Pass for PC. If you haven't got Xbox Game Pass, or are looking to upgrade; there's currently a great deal where you can get three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1. You've only got until January 6th to make use of this offer, and now that GTA V is on Xbox Game Pass, it'd be a good time to do so.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
