Homefront Team Testing New Server Infrastructure

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
Kaos Studios has taken on board the feedback from Homefront fans about the stability of the game's servers. The studio is asking fans to take part in a closed beta test for their "improved server infrastructure" and new DLC. Players can try out the brand new Spillway map in the Ground Control mode.

To gain a key for the beta test, players have to sign in to the Homefront website. Registration is free for those of you who aren't registered on the site already. Each user is allocated one download code, which can be redeemed on the dashboard. A disc is NOT required to play the beta.

A final message from Kaos:

We would like to stress that this is a "Test Phase" of the server infrastructure; expect changes and adjustments to server settings which may affect connectivity for short periods.
The "Fire Sale" Map Pack is due to be released on June 7th, and the "Spillway" map is available for testing until that date.
