Next Week Kicks Off Apex Legends' Grand Soiree Arcade Event By Heidi Nicholas, 10 Jan 2020 CommentsEA and Respawn have announced the Grand Soiree Arcade Event for Apex Legends. It's apparently based on the Roaring Twenties, and will have seven modes, each lasting two days, new art deco-inspired cosmetics, and a Bonus Scoring Weekend. The Event begins next week, January 14th, and runs until January 28th. There'll also be a Bonus Scoring Weekend during it from January 17th until January 20th.The seven modes will run as follows:Gold Rush Duos, January 14th-15th: the event begins with Gold Rush Duos, a mode for gold weapons only. LIVE. DIE. LIVE, 16th-17th: you'll automatically respawn on living squadmates.Third-Person Mode, 18th-19thAlways be Closing, 20th-21st: you have to keep moving to avoid damage from a ring that never slows downArmed and Dangerous on World's Edge, 22nd-23rd: this'll have shotguns and sniper rifles, and limited armourKing's Canyon After Dark, January 24th-25thDUMMIEs Big Day, 26th-28thThere'll be art deco inspired cosmetics for a $5 price point, along with a mix of legendary skins, which will be rotating throughout the event. There's also six new Legendary skins being added to the core loot pool. They're also adding a new prize track system, in which challenges gets you points, and points gets you rewards. Each mode has three new challenges which have a total amount of 1000 points. EA say you don't have to check in every day, but that there will be a badge for trying out every type of mode.
